F22 Films is a female led, Glasgow based independent production company that specialises in documentary and popular factual content for all major UK broadcasters.
Built on the reputation of founders Elspeth O’Hare and Jennifer Gilroy, F22 tells thought-provoking human stories with passion, integrity and visual flair.
Elspeth O’Hare (formerly Creative Director, Firecracker Scotland; Head of Documentaries, IWC) and Jennifer Gilroy (formerly Executive Producer, Firecracker Scotland; Development Executive, IWC) have over 25 years of industry experience respectively and have produced numerous BAFTA and Royal Television Society award-winning programmes.

Much acclaim has come from their important and timely documentaries, including BAFTA winning The Council (BBC1), Murder in a Small Town (Channel 5 and Paramount), BAFTA nominated The Air Hospital (Channel 4), Britain's Tourette's Mystery: Scarlett Moffatt Investigates (Channel 4), Life and Death on the A9 (BBC1), and more recently two bold and challenging films which were the first to question the conviction of nurse Lucy Letby: Lucy Letby: Did She Really Do It? (RTS nominated) And Lucy Letby: The New Evidence (Channel 5)

The team at F22 have an exceptional track record in producing popular factual content, including Coastal Adventures with Helen, Jules and JB (Channel 5), BAFTA-nominated and RTS-winner Class of Mum and Dad (Channel 4), Save Well, Spend Better (Channel 4) and both BAFTA-nominated Getting Hitched Asian Style and Rogue to Wrestler (BBC Scotland).
The Executive Producers’ range at F22 extends seamlessly from the popular returning format The Customer is Always Right (BBC1) to the glossy reality series Strip, set against the glamorous backdrop of Las Vegas for Paramount Plus.
